Restfold is a browser extension that saves, sleeps and searches your tabs. This page says what it does with your data.
Restfold stores the addresses and titles of the tabs you save, the collections you put them in, your settings, a short history of your actions so you can undo them, and copies of your open windows from the last seven days so you can restore them. All of this is kept by your browser on your computer, in the extension's own storage.
Nothing. Restfold has no account, no server, no analytics and no advertising. It does not send your tabs, your browsing, or any information about you to its developer or to anyone else. It loads no code from the internet. Site icons come from your browser's own cache.
You can export your whole library at any time as JSON, as a bookmarks file, or as OneTab text. Deleted items stay in Trash for 30 days and then are removed. Removing the extension deletes everything it stored, so export first if you want to keep your library.
When you import from another tool, Restfold only reads the file or text you give it. It never changes the other tool or its data.
Restfold asks for access to your tabs and tab groups so it can save, restore, sleep and search them, and for storage so it can keep your library. It does not ask for access to the content of the websites you visit.
If Restfold ever starts sending data anywhere, for example to sync your library between your computers, this page will say exactly what is sent and how it is protected before that feature ships, and the feature will be off until you turn it on.
